For the record, when I was setting this website up 6 years ago, I too posted a picture of a Hover Fly thinking it was a honey bee. Obviously, an easy mistake to make. Can you name this alleged bee?
Our sister bee club just east of us, the Tualatin Valley Beekeepers Association, publishes a newsletter. Their editor posted a picture last issue and was called out by one of the members.
