    By the way.  To zoom in on a photo or in this case a videopinch your thumb and index finger together and then pull them apart while keeping your hand on the screen

    It’s not a yellow jacket

    its not a honey bee

    its something that we should encourage in our gardens 

    it eats (or rather it’s larve) thousands of aphids daily

    It won't let me enlarge the file.  I may be the only one who has that problem. Can you put it out another way (as a file I can download) or send it to me?

    They certainly look like honey bees but they do seem to have a more pointed back-end. Can't tell without enlarging them.

    I've never heard of honey bees living under ground so I googled it.  There's one video with them underground amongst the roots of a tree.  The guy vacuumed them up.

    For a definitive answer I would send it to Dewey or Carolyn Breeze.
