Great idea especially documenting the date so everyone knows what grows well in Tillamook county and time of blooming to have a cycle for pollen/nectar foraging.

I snapped a couple of pics this afternoon of honey bees on my wife's Sedum and Aster.  Both plants are completely in bloom with hundreds of bees enjoying this late summer snack.  They are sharing it with Bumble Bees and even Hover Fly, but mostly honey bees are present.

That reminded me of of an idea we once kicked around of collecting pictures of Tillamook bees foraging on local flowers and cataloging them here on the website. We could have a month by month listing with pics that you all take of your own gardens, or even local things in the area.

Imagine the dozens of pics that would visually show what our bees love best and when.

Attached are a couple of pics from today.
