I read the whole article, I'm more confused now then I was but I do agree the five day treatment plan might be the best.

I believe the people doing the study have their own agenda that's why they can't get on the same page even know the study's has been going on for 20 years.

My comments has nothing to do with David, from Scotland, I believe he's very honest on his opinion.

I even read the footnotes that Dave had, and I would like to try out what  he mention about parsley, I would check my whiteboard before putting the parsley in the hive and then the next day or two check the see if there has been any improvement on dead mites  on the whiteboard.

    Foot Note 1.

    1.      No, I don’t think rhubarb leaves under the crown board will do your colony much good – or harm for that matter – but if you really want to try then use parsley instead, as this contains over 1.7% oxalic acid.

    Thanks

    Rick

I think I've shared material from this guy (David, from Scotland) before.  He's amazing.  I get about an article a week and they are so well written with a touch of humor included.  I think you should all subscribe. The subjects are valid for beekeepers everywhere.

Also if you follow his links to other articles you might be tired before you get satiated!  Be sure to follow the link at the bottom to "Rational Varroa Control"
