    My Rosemary is totally in bloom as is my blueberry “lemonade” , a few blooms on the lavender and my camellia.  Today I’ll go on a “walk about” when the temperature goes up s bit

    Are there typically any flower blossoms in January? I’m not seeing any! I love the idea of seeing everyone’s pics, but it’s a significant handicap to require a  flower as part of the subject

    Yes, if the plant is photographed as well we can probably figure out what it is!!  Today is another good opportunity

    Where can the pictures be found on the website?   

    I often don't  know what the plant is.  That would keep me and others from entering.  I wonder about sending a picture of the full plant in addition to the picture with the bee and somehow letting others help name the plant.  

    Also, since the contest was announced mid-January at the meeting, how about February being the first month?

    Announcing

    Picture of the Month Challenge

    We are seeking honey bee pictures from your gardens and scenes from in and about Tillamook.

    Send you entries to Pam Burke at

    drpamster@gmail.com

    Each entry:

    • Must name the flower, location, and date of the picture.
    • Must have a honey bee in the picture.
    • Must be taken in the entry month, i.e., Jan, Feb, etc.
    • Must be a color photo - no black and white please.
    You may enter more than one picture per month.


    The best picture each month will be awarded a $10 gift certificate for either the TCCA Farm Store or JAndy Acres.

    Please note that these pictures will be used throughout this website for all futures uses, future flyers and brochures, etc.  Perhaps, even a 2024 Calendar (TBD).
