For those interested beekeeping informational resources:
I've been a member of the list-serve BEE-L for about 5 years. This is an on-line discussion group that has members worldwide which has discussions on a variety of subjects. I often used this as a learning tool, but I've discovered over the past year, that getting useful info out of this forum takes a lot of time and energy due to the large number of posts. Even though there are many members world wide, the information provided only seem to come from a very limited and often very opinionated group. To me, it seems like a lot of work with little return for me.
I just wanted to alert you to a different forum that to me is pretty refreshing, run by a experienced beekeeper. His stories remind me of walking with a stranger (who no longer seems a stranger) through his apiary, while discussing a monthly subject that concerns us all, in a very simple and straight forward way. But for the nerd like me, the beauty of this forum is the biographical references for further reading which is what I look for; accurate information, often in referred journals, with no personal biases. You should know that the author is from the UK, so any discussions of treatments and pharmaceuticals may not be available in the US.

Hope this information is helpful.
