The two opportunities were default positions provided by the software.  Quite frankly they were not needed.  I have deleted the "Volunteer" position and kept only the "Participate" Position.

And, yes were are looking for folks to help out on a regular basis during the "season" to help maintain the hives.

Thanks Brad. Quick question on the sign-up site for these hive dives - what is the difference between "Volunteer" and "Participate"? What is expected for each? Are y'all still looking for a rotating crew of volunteers for managing the hives (and are these the "volunteers")?

As mentioned by Patsy at our meeting yesterday, we plan on meeting at the Apiary every Saturday for the next couple of months between 10:00 and noon.  Give or take.

Each week, we will be going into various hives and inspecting, checking, learning, and demonstrating various skills for all beekeepers.

This is both to manage the hives to ensure the health each hive and to create educational opportunities for beekeepers to learn how to do the many varied tasks involved in beekeeping.
