Below link is an interview from OPB about the latest USDA federal grant for 4M to OSU for foulbrood research. As far as grant monies, this is a conservative number overall, but to be rewarded for apiary research is fabulous, especially for our university. Our government seems to take a lot of criticism lately, but this is an example of the overall good that these grants accomplish, in not only our chosen field, but hundreds of fields that benefit from doing good science.
