Here are the most recent results of our use of Norroa on our Apiary Hives.
Early February treated with Apivar.
February 28th treated with Norroa on all 10 hives
April 23rd did the first mite wash on 6 hives with four showing no mites and two with one mite.
June 3rd we did the second mite wash with five hives with no mites, three with one mite and one with 3 mites.
July 8th we did the third wash with four with no mites, one with two mites and one with 4
mites. This was 18.5 weeks from the Norroa treatment.
The only other treatment done during this time was a Oxalic Vaporization on broodless hives. Not all hives were mite washed each time because of queen considerations.
We will be following up soon with Varroxsan Strips to hold the mite numbers low into August.
We feel the results of this are very impressive.
